They're great temps - especially for 25c ambient.
Now stop showing off and go play some games![]()
When my card was alive, brilliantly. Around 50c in sleeping dogs extreme @1150.
Don't ask
Is any other game making it hit 75c?
Shankly, I'm sure Fifa 13 damaged my old 7870, it used to reach 80c in the menu's and artifact like mad with the loudest coil whine I'd heard in any game. Nice coding by EA as usual.
Sorry I now need to Ask
What happened to the GPU?

I took it out, put it back and it would only display flat, primary colours...
I sighed and moved on with my life![]()
Sounds more like a broken card than the game.
Card was mostly fine in every other game. Other users experienced the problems I had as well.
Coil whine is a defect in the card.
Did you try it in another PC? Can you RMA it?
Not really considering most high end cards experience it in the menus in games. V-Sync fixes it but caused input lag in fifa.
She's dead cap'n.
The RMA situation is kinda classified at the moment.
Fight club rules apply here and what's the first rule of fight club?![]()

I use Vsync in all games and get zero input lag. Not using Vsync could be a good reason why your card was damaged.
Leaving a card to just run without no limit will produce 100% load and output has meny Frames per second making the card run super hot.
So no wounder you was getting 80c in Fifa lol
If that was the case they'd recommend everyone use v-sync. Trust me v-sync causes input lag whether you notice it or not is a different story.
