7950 upgrade

Guys, looking at my options and I'm not sure what to go for.

I have £200 - £250 for an upgrade, I game at 1080p and might well upgrade my monitor to a 21:9 screen at some point.

I am totally out if the loop with video cards now

290 or 970 would be a good choice

290 would be the faster card when overclocked but it uses loads of power and I've just sold mine and moved to a GTX970 so I can use the new DSR feature which is awesome.

So go with the GTX970 as DSR at 1080p will be a complete joy to look at.

Seen some 290s go for as low as £165 in MM though, which is incredible value for money.

I don't have access to the MM unfortunately and will not for sometime as I'm not much of a poster

I have a 7950, went for a 290 as the game bundle is too good to miss.

If you sell the 7950 and also sell the codes for Alien Isolation, Star Citizen & Sniper Elite III then you'll pay nearly nothing for it.
