Hi,

This may not be specifically related to the Sapphire but running a few tests (in boost mode) and the GPU usage jumps from 100-64 and the core clock constantly jumps from 950-850 resulting in unsteady framerates !?

Ive tried looking for a solution but it looks like the cards going back tomorrow

Voltage problem, common on them, I've owned 3 of them within about 2 weeks, ended up swapping for a cheaper Gigabyte windforce HD7950 and best decision Ive made.

Is it still applicable for return?
On the box it actually states UP TO 950mhz clock, which was pointed out to me on my 3rd return, so as long as the card hits 950mhz, you dont really have a leg to stand on (although if the retailer is reputable (hopefully you bought from OCUK), they should accept the return 'cause they're awesome).

Yeah that should be fine, your still in the "honeymoon" period of returning (something like 7 days from a store). I would personally recommend the Gigabyte version though, much better cooler than the Vapor-x (cooler and quieter), and the RMA time is like a week.

Its a very capable card and I've got to be honest, I wouldn't look at overclocking it anyway, will demolish most games at 1080p at max settings.

I had mine OC'd to 1000/1600 up until last night when I "upgraded" to win8, and playing all my games, I cant tell any difference from stock. The only difference is in benchmarks, but I OC everything for that to get the best possible result.

Basically what you've done is increased the default voltage allowance which is recommended by amd overdrive (20%).
I find it bad if you have to increase the voltage yourself just to get a stable factory rated oc.
