7950 xfire, advice please!

These new frame pacing drivers are what got me thinking about this, so I'm glad they seem to be helping

In the few titles that did have microstutter it made a dramatic difference.

It's the new drivers that got me interested in Crossfire too. I might go for 2x9950s if they're not too expensive.

I'm the same, things have to match including gpu temps otherwise bad things happen. Luckily Ice-Q's are one of the few gpu's that run at identical temps (or within 1c of each other depending on the game) when sitting next to each other in crossfire. Its great for your ocd.
