7950GX gone pop, what to replace it with?

Your best bet is obviously an 8800.
Depends what res you play at!
The GX2 i have gives fairly similar performance to a GTS but it can't compete with the GTX.
For upcoming future games i would say if you can afford it the GTX will do well for resolutions of 1680x1050 and over. But with the R600 slated for release march 15th - 21st i might wait to see what price that is and how the prices of the competing nvidia cards drop!

As everyone says, an 8800 is the way to go.
Is your card still under warranty though? If it is RMA it and save some money.
