Its currently just sitting there doing nothing but EVEREST is reporting:

Seems a little toasty to me.

Its in the Eclipse 62 with the 120mm fans back and front of course and a Sycthe Ninja above it.

Should I be worried?

That is a bit warm, mine idles in the high 40's, never goes above 70 under load. I agree your motherboard's a bit warm compared to your CPU, what's the 51 about?

My card was idling last night via the Nvidia temp monitor page at 66'c. They do idle hot. Really bad design

Do you have enough airflow going through your case with those 120mm fans??
I hope so. I don't have a fan controller so they are not turned down. I could get another one just to blow over the GPU's.

If its a Conroe board that probably about right for MB temps. Mine is about the same on my P5W DH
Yeah its a P5W DH with the E6600. Haven't overclocked that yet.

Well I was meant to have the side panel with the 120mm fan on but they forgot to put that in my box :( . So hopefully it should drop a bit when I get that.

I wouldn't worry unless you're having stability issues. The heat generated by 7950's is fast becoming a tradition, with that design, it's inevitable. Same goes for MB temps on Conroe based systems, both the p5 wdh and p5n32-sli SE often gave me readings that exceeded the CPU's temp when idle. All was perfectly stable.

That case should provide more than adequate airflow for any system, especially when combined with the vented side panel if you're running an SLI/crossfire setup.

What is the noise like when its idle? my 6600gt idles at 60 and 70-80 at load but thats because its passive, I would rather have the heat than the noise!

The noise level never seems to alter regardless of load. They're very quiet, much quieter than ATI's stock coolers, even with 4 fans, they cannot be heard over the PSU/CPU and system fans.

Cool, I've always tried to get passive cooled cards because I hate any kind of noise, I found a passive MSI 7900 GT but its £220 something! Once the 7950GX2's come down in price I might in to buying one ;)

Thats good to hear since I've had no stability issues even after a session of Oblivion.

Yeah they're whisper quiet. Can't hear them over the 120mm case fans.
