7950x cooling concern

looking at upgrading my 7600 to a full fat 7950x

the only concern i have is that the 7600 currently lives under a Eisbaer 240 AIO cooler.

is this going to be up to the job of keeping the 7950 in check or am i better looking at a 360 cooler? (which also means a new case

It'll be fine, better than most air coolers still. Why not try it first and then upgrade if need be.

It will be fine, might hit 95c under full load (which isn't a problem) but if that bothers you just use the 105W eco mode, which barely affects performance.

this, I use ECO mode 65W and the performance is good and the temps on the CPU/GPU are stellar!

I use a 280 AIO and it's absolutely fine. Like people said above, it will never go above 95 due to internal temp controls. I think the difference between 240/280 and a full watercooling loop is probably only a few percentage at the most.

forgot to mention, I use a DeepCool 240mm AIO on my 5900X.
