I am a little puzzled as to how some people are playing Titanfall maxed out @1920x1080 with a 7970gpu i5 cpu and 8gb of ram at 60fps.

I play online at this resolution maxed out settings and Fraps reports average fps of around 36fps how can this be correct? Any info on what fps i should expect on this game with Maximum detail, and which antialias setting, v sync etc to maximise performance at this setting is appreciated. My system spec is as follows:

Windows 7 64x
Asus p8 z77 v-lx board
16Gb Corsair Vengeance 1600mhz
i5 3570K @ 4.2ghz
Gigabyte HD7970oc Windforce gpu 1000mhz/1375mhz
750w psu
gpu drivers 14.501.1003.0
catalyst vers 14.12 Omega
standard 1920x1080 led monitor

What people say they are getting or using on settings is sometimes exaggerated. Titanfall is still quite a demanding game.

they wont be maxxing it and staying above 60 fps guarantee you . i played it since before beta and still do every day ;) . drop msaa x4 you should be fine then.

I'm running it at 1440P maxed out with 8x MSAA on a 290.

The only thing i can say it it seems to glitch out sometimes, randomly about 1 in every 10 games i get low frame rates, even at low settings. the next day its ok again...

Well now ive disabled v sync in game but forced it in catalyst which is supposed to eliminate tearing, with maxed settings the fps is fixed at 60fps the graphics are awesome and no issues its totally smooth why is this?

i have problem with raptor and titanfall.
you could max out titanfall on an Atari so yes i5, 8gb and 7970 will be fine.

right now i am using a

4670 @ 3.8
8gb 2666Mhz
2 x 7950 1175/1450

all setting on max i dont know the FPS but its very smooth.
al install something to read them and let you know

I was maxing this out on a single 7970, in the early days when i played it there was no crossfire support so just ran it on a single card.

I played quite a lot of TF,.was using a Gigabyte 280x untill a few months ago(basically your card but with slightly higher clocks)

Ran the max settings with 4xmsaa at 1080p,was a solid 60,no drops(FWIW this wouldnt ever push the GPU to 100% usage)

Kicking up to 8xmsaa would cause drops,IRRC it was still averaging over 50fps.

Make sure you have ingame origin overlay disabled in Origin preferences,as it causes issues with performance in this game.

Edit:A lot of benchs for this i game i have seen dont really make much sense tbh,Hell,760's gettin 81fps? not a chance maxxed out, never mind the stutter any 2GB card would suffer with insane textures and some msaa,

I am and have always run with everything on max and never have a problem, I have used a 7970, 280x, gtx 770, R9 290, and now 2x7950. The only thing that as ever been a problem was raptor(AMD gaming evolved) it would lock up random fps drops. But I had this in a few games however after removing it ever thing is now spot on. It's running maxed on 4gb 1333mhz ram right now my new ram comes today and no drops.

Does it have multi GPU support ?

Performance wise yes (well at least SLI) - My 690 performs exactly as I would expect it to across three screens. Unfortunately light flickering (lights appearing through walls etc) makes me want to vomit when I play it so I end up running it on my 780M laptop.
