7970 CCC Settings

Hi,

Just wondering how you guys set up your 7970's in CCC.

Particularly:

Morphological filtering I have enabled
filter, standard or edge detect
Catalyst A.I. Level - Enable surface format optimization?
Anti-Aliasing Mode - Multi , Adaptive, or Super sample AA

Helpful lol I wanna squeeze the most eye candy I can out of it! Morphological seems like a great filtering effect. Just hoping to see if anyone has found a good medium to get the most fps and eye candy.

tried Morphological filtering on avp and looked very nice but does put a serious dent in the framerates

AMD Catalyst at max overclock.... stock volts, everything else is on default

i have no silly overclocking any more like last time, no need to, plus the RMA takes too long

rig on 4.4...no more that's fine for me

Don't forget the varnish, most important part me thinks.

but i'd love to OC the rig all the way, because i know due to its very low CPU temps on Prime that it'll hit 4.8 easy, i've been told so by quite a few guys, but i cant get above 4.4 on manual, i dont know enough about it.....

it's only 56 degrees C on 4.4

Don't forget the varnish, most important part me thinks.

yes this is true, i did actually varnish my old GT8800, I sunk it in a bath of Polyurethane varnish/ drained it off/ left it for two days and ran it in my old rig.... it ran dead silent ! so it deffo works, but you cant do this to a 7970 or you'll loose your RMA, UNLESS you identify the noisy capacitor only and just carefully varnish it.... they'll not notice that.

but your best bet is to reduce the OC..... isn't it
