I have 7970 CF and I can see all the sensors on the top card but only a few on the bottom card

Ive read two suggestions of why this might be the case:
1) The crossfire bridge isnt making full contact
2) The ZeroCore thingy is disabling the second cards sensors

What do you guys think?
Basically Id like a full set of sensors for both cards :)

ULPS Aka Zerocore stops the second card values from being monitored or even displayed on an overlay. If you want full control of those you know what you need to do. Disable ULPS.

Yeah it is the ULPS..
You can disable it via windows registry or you can install MSI Afterburner go on options and disable there.

I still want ZeroCore Enabled ideally

Is there a way I can get Afterburner Rivatuner on-screen to show GPU2 Temp?

Idle: Zerocore shuts down second card
Gaming: Afterburner shows temp, etc for 2nd card

thanks

It's a bit hit n miss for the 2nd gpu overlay.

AB》settings》disable ulps》restart 》launch game, when finished your session, re enable ulps》restart.

Pita but you get better performance anyway, anything between 12/30% clocks/game dependant.

I managed to make it work using the RadeonPro overlay i think. Try that.

Im gonna stick to Afterburner for the time being as ive not used radeonpro

Really? :(

Thanks for the instructions but I cant be bothered with that every time just to get the gpu2 overlay :p

Considering its a watercooled rig, im just going to assume that gpu1 temp = gpu2 temp

I was hoping for something along the lines of: quit AB》open gpuz》start that lava simulation thing to kick the cards into 3d mode》open AB 》choose gpu2 monitoring stats》quit gpuz 》launch game

thanks guys, but it seems it is more of a pita than I first thought :p

I'm using with ULPS disabled...
the 2nd card clocks stays at 300/150, the voltage drops and the temperatures as well.

I did a test long time ago and if I'm not wrong the difference was less than 4W...
