7970 Crossfire not performing!

I never used MSI Afterburner when playing games and had 7970 xfire from their launch, never had any problems, also was at 1440. Any overclocking i just used CCC sliders.

Have you tried using a user.cfg file? If so, the main one is to use renderdevice.renderaheadlimit 0. This helped me a lot.
Also the biggest fiend of microstutter is having battlelog open in you browser, close all browser windows and see if that helps.

After hours of messing around zzzzz lol
I found that adding cfg file, and adding rather, renderdevice.renderaheadlimit 0 (as chipachap said, thanks for that
) or gametime.maxvariablefps 60, with the setting of afterburner on. this has taken away the huge micro stutters!
Problem i have now with v-sync on, is mouse lag. it feels kind of floaty feeling, with very minor micro stutters when panning left to right, but no way near as bad as it was.
But when i fly heli, or jets, it's very very smooths.
with v-sync off, the mouse lag goes, but i get horrible tearing lol i can't win!!
I tested on the map paracel storm! 2 cards handle it easy! part from the mouse lag thing.
Any idea?
Also, those with single or crossfire 290's, is there any messing around like with the 7970's?
