7970 crossfire probs

solved: not sure which did it but i flashed the bios and also used a different crossfire bridge, thanks for all the help/advice :)
 
I still think it would be better idea to send back the newly bought 7970 under DSR. It is always a bad idea to crossfire/sli when the 2nd PCI-E X16 is only x4 lane due to the limited bandwidth...and even more so for fast cards such as 7970s. Also, there's little reason to get a 2nd 7970 if you are gaming at 1080p. If you see frame rate dip a lot during intensive scenes, I'm pretty sure it is just your CPU bottlenecking your single 7970, as Bulldozer 8150 at 4.2GHz is only roughly as fast as Phenom II X6 at 3.8GHz but with two extra cores that are never gonna get used in games.
