If you had the choise would you go for a

MSI AMD RADEON R7970 HD VIDEO CARD 2PMD3GD5 3GB DDR5 OC Edition
or
Asus Rog 7970 Matrix Platinum

Both 7970's and both second hand at around the same price is there a big differance. The MSI looks like it may get hotter....

The Asus, without a doubt. It has a far better cooler and has a binned chip for better overclocking.

the matrix 7970 is known to have a lot of problems, be careful buying one second hand
