7970 IceQ DOA?

Hi, Just got a 7970 IceQ however after installing it I am getting a blank screen and can't hear windows load either. I have plugged the the 2x8 PCIE in and made sure it is seated correctly.

Specs

i5 2500K @4.6
8GB DDR3
Cooler Master M620
P67A-G45 (B3)
4870 (old Card)

At the moment I am lost as what to do; don't have another machine I can try it in.

I have used a 7970 Windforce previously with no troubles. The only other new part is the Cooler Master 8 Pin which I just bought.

Any thoughts?

Updated your mobo bios?
I had a similar thing to you, bios update sorted it out.
