Other day friends Sapphire 7970 was going crazy so he RMA'd it, so I gave him one of mine to use in the meantime. He got it back after they said it wasn't faulty ( my arse it wasn't we did testing for about five hours and confirmed it was that card.) So rather than him tearing apart his rig to put his in and give me mine back I said id take that one back rather than get my own. So i set it up plug it in (without xfire cable for now as running as 2 single cards) and get the following reading below;

It apparently has upto date drivers but am I missing something here? As to why it isn't working correctly.

Is it causing system crashes for you? I know certain drivers on certain systems have caused issues. Are temps ok when gaming?

Temps are pefect when gaming.

I have 2 of the same card and he also has one of the same. Through testing one at a time and them in crossfire through heaven engine and games we found the one he sent back to be the culprit. It was going crazy wild on voltages.

It seems to be all OK now, I turned the machine of, turned the PCI-E lanes of on the mobo switched on, then switched of and turned the lanes back on (with motherboad swtich) and it all seems ok now.

Was kind of wierd.

It crashed during 3dmark11 just as got result of 12k for them in Xfire when my ones used to get 17000+. My card with his that he sent back manages 14k.

System crash just before 2nd test now. Looks like it was tested well. Not the first issue last week me or my friend had problems with OCUK's technicians. All their staff are amazing like 5UB and the in store sale guys. But their technicians always giving me problems. There is no way in hell they tested this card.

Getting the same issues and results in 3 different systems, with the same card. I don't think its a coincidence.

For CF, those results look fine if they are stock. If anything, maybe a little low but remember CF will not scale 100% but I would still imagine slightly higher score.

If it is crashing on stock, try a different driver. Without making a rod for my back, CF can have issues and needs a little bit of work put in. Tonester/Psychodil/Spoffle/Rusty will be better advising on what you need to do here.
