Im having some issue's with my 7970 Lightning BE, I've been noticing for a while now my screen will flicker randomly, it happens quite oftern in black ops 2 menu, with after burner on i can see the clock speeds changing from 300-500 quite quickly, once im in game its fine most of the time.

It happens on the desktop too, again its random/intermittent. I was hoping it would stop but its beginning to get on my nerves now, I was using the Latest beta driver but I'm now using the latest Stable driver 13.1, I was hoping it was the beta driver causing the two issue's.

The second problem is whilst gaming my screen will go Green and I'll get vertical black lines. At that point I have to restart the pc (physically)

Here's a picture i took of the green screen:

I got another crash today but this time the screen was Black but with Green Lines.

I would return this for a RMA, but im worried the issue's i'm experiencing may not show up when its tested since the issue's mentioned are very intermittent, which i assume will be done using benchmarks. I ran the heaven benchmark yesterday and it was fine. Whether looping the benchmark makes it show up i don't know.

Has anyone else had a similar or the same issue with a 7970 ?

There's a lot of his going around lately, i think all the people with problems should send a letter to msi i dunno how they can sell a card for that price when everyone is getting problems!

I'm in the process of RMAing one of my Lightnings as it just died after around 5 hours of use. Hopefuly it'll get sorted and I'll have no further problems with either Lightning BE's.
