Has anyone attempted to use the EK-FC7970 Lightning water block for the MSI HD 7970 Lightning Boost Edition?

I would like to try it, but EKWB have only visually (as opposed to physically) confirmed it's compatibility, should this be sufficient? Additionally does anyone know the actual power consumption for the card is? Is it over 400W?
