7970 LIGHTNING results

Takes 1.25V to get 1170?

To me, that seems a little poor for a card costing so much.

Still temps are good, and I know it'll be a damn sight quieter than my ref cards :D

Considering it was only £35 ish more than the cheapest 7970, i'm not complaining :D
 
Very good. Really similar to what my GTX670 can achieve with some OCing. Temps never above 54C.

Think i may be at my max core but can do it on lower volts(not much time lastnight)

Too add also put 1.3v into it but made little differance, temps were good, but core becoming unstable.
Whats the aux v and whats safe for mem v?
 
Try mem at 1.65v, think your pretty safe just to Max out auxiliary voltage on the ln2 BIOS (+20mv?).

I don't think we are going to see the benefits of higher voltages from these cards until they are under water.
