7970 pci-e link speed???

Purchased a 7970 through the week, but 1 thing has been niggling me. Although the card is obviously pci-e 3.0 and my board only supports pci-e 2.0 (Gigabyte EX58-UD5), why does it show as running at the following?



Should it not read PCI-E 3.0x16 @x16 2.0 ??? Or am I being really dense?

Seems to be a bug I think in GPU-Z.

If you load up the card with a game or benchmark windowed, you can see it reads correctly (PCI-E 3.0x16 @x16 2.0), at idle mine reads the same as that (@x16 1.1). Either a power saving feature or GPU-Z bug.
