This is a new problem which has just begun recently. Seem's like it only affects the main screen output. If I turn my monitor off, or remove the cable to the monitor, the picture moves on to the TV. Only restarting the PC seems to rectify it.

GPU is a 7970 Matrix Platinum, with the memory + mem voltage on a -10% clock, because as standard it artifacts like mad on games.

any ideas?

If it's not stable at stock clocks I would definitely RMA that card. Looks like it has faulty VRAM. Turn the voltage up to 1.625 or 1.65 on the VRAM an see if that fixes it.

Funny you should say that, this card was RMA'd before because of issue in games. It was returned with no fault found, apparently it's quite common with this card.

Are you using the latest 14.6-rc beta drivers?

Caused graphics problems for me in games, chrome and desktop, went back to 14.4 whql and all is well again.
