what's everybody saying?

does it work? what's the scaling like?

tempted by the lcs on special and some water cooling...

I have 2 windforce cards and the scaling is great in BF3.

Running them both at 1155/1525 Mhz.

But i'm sure my i7 920 @ 4 GHZ is holding the cards back in 64 player maps.

Scaling is pretty impressive. I'm getting 98% and 96% on my cards.

I'm running at a slightly lower clock that chief though 1125/1575 ^_^
i7 3770k @4.8Ghz though, probably a tad higher FPS though?

EDIT: Running 12.6 and latest CAPs.

It's ok. Depends on the game mode and map size. Bigger open maps give bad scaling, going down to 65% in places. You'd really need a 120hz monitor to benefit from the extra card.

I find scaling is resolution dependent.

The 12.7 drivers gave performance a right kick up the arse.

In 1440p, scaling with 2 cards in Ultra settings max fov is 90-100% in Gulf of Oman.

I run with a 4.7GHZ 3930k and I am CPU limited.

Im using Crossfire 7970's @ 2560 x 1440, everything on Ultra with 4 x MSAA, it tears BF3 a new one. Awesome performance, would much prefer this performance in a single card though. It does generate a fair bit of heat when gaming, my cards are Kuhler water modded aswell..

Roll on GK110 and HD 8970 !!
