Does this sound strange? ...

According to GPUz my cards idle voltage is a static 1.248v. This is even with the core clock dropping to 500MHz idle. When I run Haven Valley, the voltage drops to ~1.19v under load.

Surely the voltage should be lower at idle? My cards ASIC is 61% so I expect a fair bit of Vdroop, just suprised the idle voltage is so high.

Is this normal? :)

First of all, don't pay attention to GPUz voltage. It generally doesn't read right.
That is a lot of vdroop. What does Afterburner or Trixx say?

Afterburner stays at 1.256v both idle and under load with the voltage set at 1200mV. The monitor reads a constant 1.256v which makes me think it's inaccurate.

That's the latest version yes?
How about TriXX? That's the Sapphire overclocking utility you should use for that card.

Trixx reports voltage at 1.256. Closing down AB just dropped my idle voltage to 0.949.

Force constant voltage is disabled, must be bugged.
