7990 BSOD when 144hz is set

hey guys,

i have got myself a 144hz monitor, however it runs fine at 60 and 120hz, but when set to 144hz, my PC BSOD's so my 7990 dose not like it, has anyone else had this problem and know how to solve it? if so please share as im quite disappointed that i cant use my monitor to its full potential :(

What clock speed is it running at with 144hz selected?
 
Use the bottom link in my sig.

You could always use unofficial overclocking in afterburner and run it 'without powerplay' support. If the crashing is caused by the clock state then this should fix it as the card won't clock down.
