My Gigabyte 7990 has stopped displaying via DP, but I can still get a display using the the DVI-I port. What could be the cause of this? Is it the card, the DP lead or the monitor? I have tried to use a DP-HDMI lead in the past to connect to my TV, but could'nt get a signal and searching the web, it seems hit and miss as to whether it works or not.
Any help appreciated, gaming at 60Hz is not the same as 144Hz.:(

Just tried another Gpu(GTX770) and a different cable. Still no signal via display port.
So, I assume it is an issue with the monitor and not Gpu drivers or the Gpu.
Just want to be sure before arranging an RMA with Asus.

Have you tried turning the monitor off at the mains for a while? I remember I would occasionally have an issue with my PS3 back in the day where it was a 'handshake' issue using HDMI and powering off the TV at the mains would resolve it. I am not sure if this would work with DP but worth a try?
