7990 Flickering Textures

So my 7990 has flicckering textures in few games ive noticed
- league of legends
- Sim City
( only ones ive played recently)

whats the best way to test for flickering textures? high end games or a benchmark?

if it is the memory that is going wrong, what would it be replaced with? i assume 7990 is EOL?

That's strange, are you at stock clocks/voltage?

Has the card been working in those games up to now, or has it always been like that?

i have a 7990 and running 13.12 drivers and had flickering in simcity and I found that disabling vsync in simcity stopped it.

I have them now and then in BF4... I put it down to 14.1's, it's only in odd sections on mountains I noticed it...
