hi guys,

update today 21 april 2014
so After testing 13.12

Issues im Getting
Titanfall - After 30 minute to an hour Half the screen goes black & with different black shapes Sometimes small wholes in these to see the textures behind

Euro Truck driver - same as above

Tomb Raider - some black shapes instead of textures

OCCT - 30 seconds running screens all go off pc is still on

Heaven Benchmark - 1 run no issues what so ever

Desktop after Heaven Desktop wallpaper is gone

so had my 7990 for about 7 months maybe,

Getting the following:
:Rare, but Flickering Textures with Xfire ON/OFF
:very mild Textures Stretching (normally one texture only very small lines joining to make a pyramid like shape

Temperatures ranging 58c idle (3 screens) to 75-79c max

Here is the funny part:
Titan fall - minor issues
Heaven (last time i checked few months ago no issues)
Euro Truck Simulator (worst offender)

only things that changed in last 2 months is i now have 3 screens rather one, maybe more noticeable due to more Vram usage?

Going to do:
Try Offical drivers

what else to try?

if this is on its way out, it would be my 3rd Gigabyte card to be to go for RMA
Windforce:
7970 lasted 2 years then fans died
7970 lasted 5 months fan rattle

280X Sapphire Had for 5 months no issues
7990 7 months Now possible Memory issues :(

Ello smogs, long time no see old chap. How i miss your poor jokes and homosexual innuendo's on ts.

Certainly does sound like dodgy vram. Got any screenshots or pictures of said artifacts?

I can see that Euro Truck sim 2 is officially supported for Sli but not for crossfire, if that helps, I had to set up a profile to get my cards working in crossfire, from a fresh install ETS2 will just use one gpu.
 
Not sure AMD have still fixed multi monitor setups/eyefinity for the 7 series. Still a big problem I think. Doesn't play nicely with framepacing.

I also have noticed recently in BF4 some psychadelic colours and flickering. In Bioshock Infinate I get squares of flicker sometimes. Like you say, does make you wonder if these 7990's are failing. Hope not as I really like my 7990 and for 4k was thinking about a second as my mining freinds have wroked out that the 7990 isn't worth it as they pull too much juice comapered to the R9's.
 
AMD Driver crashed twice in last 10 minutes

and this has happened to me 3 times, twice last night once this morning:

That's a flash issue right there smogingtons. Download and or update flash player for other browsers.
 
hmm could defiantly be.

but already have one for all browsers, however amd driver crashing is nothing to do with flash :( it was not open at the time
