7990 or 780

PhysX in Batman is more annoying than anything else. It's like it's there just to make sure you notice it's there.

I won't miss it when I get my next AMD card :)

I honestly dont think that i have ever played a game with PhysX,

With Duel gpu cards do you still get stuttering problems?
 
The 7990 is way ahead of the 780. It runs very hot, I think it's best under water.

I'd prefer 2x7950s over the 7990 or 780 myself. Overclocked it'd meet a 7990 for under £400.

Agreed, but id still swap my 7950's for a 7990 given the chance.

In a couple of games. Overclock it to 4.5GHz or so if you haven't already. But everything is bottlenecked by something ultimately, people spend too much time worrying about it.

You could also wait for the new AMD card, announced in a few days. It's likely going to beat a 780 at a lower cost.
