7990 or 780???

You can compare cards easily, the 7990 is quicker than a Titan in most games and is dirt cheap. Yes it's crossfired dual GPUs but that's not exactly the end of the world.

But of a pain if your favorite game does not support crossfire.

As I said before you can not compare as they do different things.
 
What do you want in the long run mate, if you want outright performance now, and play a lot of AAA games, go for the 7990. If you want good performance and are thinking of upgrading again in the future, stick with your 780 and then maybe get another one later down the line.
