Hi, Just wondering if the speed I am getting within 7Zip (Uncompressing) is the usual.
CPU: AMD Phenom 9950
RAM: OCZ 4Gb PC6400
Seagate 1Gb HDD
1680x1050
As can be seen, only one core is under load yet all 4 are are selected under core affinity, is this usual?
HHD usage is between 10 - 20 Mb/s
7Zip speed rarly goes above 10Mb/s
0Mb free memory, would 8Gb System Ram improve this?
Is this usualy with such large files (7Gb+)?
