**8-Bit Armies, Hoards & Invaders**

Recently I've started playing this more, especially since losing faith (and interest) in World of Tanks. I bought 8-bit Armies when it was released and have picked up both expansions since they came out. I am having quite a bit of fun. It's not particularly deep, but it's easy to pick up and play and the games don't last all that long making it very "more-ish".

Anybody else on here playing this? Particularly the old Supcom2 crowd?

Not played it but been interested.

8-Bit invaders seems like a good version, how do you rate that in particular as they seems to be separate games rather than DLC.

They are separate games, but all inter-compatible with each other.

Simply put, Armies is essentially C&C, Hoards is more like Warcraft and Invaders is more like StarCraft. So whichever floats your boat most really. You can buy all three for a discounted rate though.

Same here - one of those games I could see myself buying/playing if I knew there was folk to play it with...
