8 core build? Can I improve?

With regards to that graphics card, it is just to give him SOME more gaming power. He doesn't really game apart from footy manager and the odd sim game. I figured this would give him SOME options without splashing out on a gpu when he isn't really a gamer per se.

I went with that case as it has plenty of fans and he will be putting the case in a fairly enclosed space so needs fans already in the case.

No OS needed.

looking to get it to 4.4 for him. He doesn't really game....a bit of footy manager and some sim games but nothing what we would consider "gaming" I want him to have something better than onboard graphics but not spend a whack on it as it'll not really be gaming.

Will be used for streaming, internet, music mixing and some editing. Budget was total £750 so I thought I had got a decent setup

I'm only going to be using multiplier for overclocking and I'll not be touching the RAM. Basically the more I can save the better so 2400 RAM is just extra cost. The 1600 stuff would be fine for his use.

btw I went for the corsair as it was modular. Had that PSU for anothe rbuild and the amount of wires was mental. I might just put the corsair back...unless it's not a good idea with the cpu overclock drawing more volts?

Thanks Lee but yes he needs the sound card. He tinkers a fair bit with music so would be better to have one. He doesn't game that much so a 270 gpu isn't worth the outlay.
