Hi,

I've just built my system with the following:

3700x
Asrock Taichi x570
Team group 3600 8Pack ram(16GB)

The ram is only being detected at 2400mhz by Cpuz. I've manually set the timings in the bios (new to AMD so might be missing something) and also tried 3200mhz, but still no luck.

Any ideas please (sorry if this should be in the motherboard forum).

So, set XMP on. Then manually go and set 3200 CL14 14 14 14.

If that works try 3400 (mine wouldn't post)

Loosen to 3400mhz CL16 16 16 16 see if that works. (Mine did) Then fine tune.

Thanks, I'll give that a go. I've never had these issues before. What I have found is that after changing the settings in the bios it will reset three times before posting. It then boots first time after that. When I go into the bios, all the settings are there.

I'm on bios 1.6 which is the latest one I can find.

Yeah I had exact same symptoms. I think they need to fix their bios.

I managed to get it to boot once at 3200C14, but even that wont boot now. Back to 2400C16... Not what i was expecting from buying premium RAM/Mobo. Fingers crossed it's a bios issue that gets sorted soon as i dont particularly want to have to RMA it all.

What was the speed that changed the infinity fabric ration. There was a games nexus video saying to keep the ratio to 1:1 I think 3600mhz changed it and made for some fun booting

So far, so good. Getting invalid System info in 3d mark for some reason, but survived a run! Will do some more testing tomorrow, as not sure if A2/B2 is the setup i should be using.

I am using those slots as the manual instructs it anyway if using two sticks.
