8 Pack build 7900X

Hi there,

Just testing out a recent 8Pack build I received and noticed that benchmarking with CPU-Z doesn't seem to bench as high as expected - any ideas ?

All settings as I received them - all cores overclocked at 4.2Ghz.

As you can see I get varried results each time I run the bench against the reference CPU. Should this not be scoring more consistently better than given same chip reference numbers considering this is overclocked - or is this normal?

All bios settings as I received them - all cores overclocked at 4.2Ghz. What Bios settings should I be posting here for help and is there an easy way to extract them for posting?

If you purchased it as an overclocked bundle then post in the customer services section. They’ll get to the bottom of any problems quicker than we will!

Speedstep enabled? it'll downclock the speeds when not fully loaded.

any programs running in the back ground. normally i bench without CPUz then bring it up after the bench has completed .

run cinebench with it on and off and you'll see it effects it- steam was well etc etc

Are you sure those are even the specs?? Corsair is not used in my builds bundles. Contact returns with your order number and we can sort this.

I would try some other benchmarks also. CPUz was acting quirky with my i9 at one point as even when overclocked it was coming in under stock 7980XE speeds which made no sense. All other benchmarks however showed normal scores and performed as expected, so put it down to a CPU-z quirk at the time.
