The PRE-ORDER prices are an absolute bargain, particular those 32GB kits, remember this is SCREENED Samsung B-Die with aggressive CAS Timings and were confident we cannot be beaten on price for the specification and quality on offer.

Ordered. Got the 3600mhz cl16 over the 3200 cl14. GUessing that is correct for intel (AMD lower latency right?)

You can use either, just whatever you prefer but both are fine in Intel and AMD platforms.

Has the RAM heatsink design had any changes, does it say ripped on them for example?

Zero changed to aesthetics, we thoroughly believe in a less is more approach, the beauty of this RAM is not only its performance and how it typically rivals G.Skill at a lower price but the fact it has fantastic clean looks and the heatsink is proper metal materials, no plastic and no goofy text just the usual small 8 Pack logo as it is our RAM, designed and specified in house by ourselves, well me and 8 Pack and then built by TeamGroup for ourselves.

The Ripped in the title is just so it clearly stands out when people are browsing otherwise it is very easy to get lost amongst the other kits as to look at it is identical to the regular 3600C16 kit, the difference is the more aggressive latencies.

Another flip to these though one we do not advertise is they should happily run at 3866MHz 16-16-16-38 pretty much.

Not that I mind having C14 3600 in an easy to configure XMP but I take it these are the same RAM modules already sold but just with a bump from 1.35v to 1.4v in the XMP to make C14 possible?

Nope, these are binned separately, it is also why it has taken nearly a year as to achieve this spec comfortably in a wider range of mainboards means separate binning process, so they are better yield modules and also do require the bump in voltage to achieve the timings.

Considering the binning, what's their OC potential like in comparison to the previous ones? Obviously allowing for the silicone lottery.

Silicon lottery ideally but with relaxed timings they should hit 3866MHz more comfortably and as always some will go beyond 4000MHz easily depending on CPU and motherboard combination of course as its not just down to memory but quality of the CPU and motherboard.

Would my 2700X harm my chances?

This memory will improve chances with any CPU but it is well know the Ryzen 3000 series made great improvements on memory overclocking.

I'm looking to buy the 16GB C14 kit at the discounted price but won't actually know if the RAM is good till I get my system built around the time B550 comes out. I take it we would be ok to report faults in late June for replacement?

I know these say "lifetime warranty" but I'd like some more information in regards to such a specific item. Say in 2 years time if these develop a fault, you aren't going to be able to replace these right since you will be focusing on enthusiast DDR5 by then.

THey would be replaced, for example we still get replacement for DDR3 parts. Even DDR2 in some cases.
If replacement is not possible then it would be market value credit, for example if you buy a kit today at £140, but return it after two years use then the part will be replaced with equivalent product or a credit to buy something similar or a fair value refund as of course you won't get a full refund for a product you had 2, 3 or 4 years use out of for example otherwise it would be like renting for free and nothing is free, but when it comes to memory nearly all parts are repaired/replaced.

Glad to see people getting on well with the new RIPPED kits.

Quality of heatspreader are in another league compared to competing brands and of course the timings are very aggressive and as such are priced very aggressively compared to similar premium B Die kits with similar timings.
