8 Pack Ram - Going from 16GB to 32GB

This may be a stupid question ....

I am currently running 16Gb of the Team Group XTreem edition DDR4 4000MHz Dual channel memory (2 x 8gb) (MY-098-TG).

Is upgrading to 32Gb as simple as buying another 16 Gb (2 x 8gb) sticks and plug and go?

Also i've got this timed at 3733 CL16 - are these settings simply carried over or will i need to have a play about again?

If they are the exact same sticks as the two you have in.

Or sell the two you have and buy 2 x 16gb.

Yes they are the same products number on the OCUK website.

There's no guarantee you'll be able to run them at that speed, so tweaking may be inevitable.

I originally ordered a second set of the 16g cl14 but my system did not play well with all 4 being populated.

I sold a set and ordered the 32g cl14 kit that has clocked quite well. My results are in the main thread if you are interested.
