Hi.

I have got an overclocking motherboard (MSI Tomahawk Z170) but I am only putting a G4560 which can't be clocked.

The MOBO has a 24 pin motherboard socket and an 8 pin CPU socket. My PSU has a 20+4 connector and a 4+4 CPU connector.

Should I attach all these or can I just plug in the 20 pin and one 4 pin connector due to the CPU being low power?

Thanks.

Your PSU has exactly what the motherboard is asking for, 20+4(24) pin connection and a 4+4(8) pin connection(assuming it is labeled CPU), both go into the motherboard, the connectors on the PSU are divided for backward support with older boards that used 20 pin connections and 4 pin connections.

If in doubt refer to the manual for the PSU(shouldn't be hard to grab off the web), it will clearly state what they are intended for.
