8 pin extension cable - easy question :)

I'm about to buy this cable, to allow me to route my 8 pin motherboard power cable round the back of the motherboard tray (it doesn't reach currently). However, I noticed that the male end is split into "CPU1" and "CPU2".

This is, hopefully, a nice easy question: how do I know which way round they should go?

i would guess it will only fit one way anyway

they will only fit in the board one way usually, and they usually got a clip on that has to be in the middle to clip it
