I've a 5 year old Corsair RM750x which should still have plenty life in it, however just wanted to double check something first.

Going to upgrade to a 4070ti super which comes with a 3x 8-pin-to-12VHPWR connecting cable. The arrangement on my PSU is as pictured. Can I safely plug two of the 8 pins into the sockets on the lower right, then the third into what seems to be a 6+2 pin slot immediately left of those two? Would it be better to get a 2x 8 pin to 12VHPWR cable instead, which should be fine for that card?

Sorry for asking questions like a 2 year old, PSU's are the one thing in a build that I want to be sure about!

Ok thanks everyone. Just going to order the 2x8 corsair cable, should be plenty for that card and much more simple. Yes, diagram extremely confusing!

As far as I can see, the manual is effectively useless. All the information it gives you is what's included in the box, alongside some fan noise graphs!

Yeah it's a Zotac and coming with a 3x. Have ordered the 2x anyway and will see what happens when I put everything together, can always return that cable if not needed.
