I'm over the moon 8 weeks and counting, couldn't have done it without my PV (personal Vaper) tried patches, gum all the usuall stuff.
If anyone struggling with packing the weed in try a PV

Do those things actually work?

Still feeding the nicotine addiction, just with another delivery mechanism.

Still following the same association action.

you referring to legal smoking or illegal smoking?

Keep it up!

Have had 1 or 2 since September 2010
I still have the urge for one now and them, especially when stressed out.
Going to a Stag do this weekend, will be mega hard to not have a few there but i will try!

TBh i would quit all of it inc the sily vapouriser thing, you might not be smoking but you are doing as close to it as possible without actually sparking up..

aye its not quiting if your still relying on nicotine..

its like me saying ive quit drinking and im no longer an alcholic but instead of drinking it im injecting it into my big toe

Well done, keep going, I managed 3 months a couple of years ago then succumbed back to the weed.

Actually doing a bit of reading it seems because your not breaking the nicotine cycle with associated actions the relapse rate is extremely high. Also it's considerably more expensive (If not purchased via NHS) then cigarettes.

I am down to 0% nicotine all i vape is food standard VG vegitable glycerine and flavor of your choice :)

Congrats so far, i gave up mid December, was lucky i guess that i never used any of that stuff, once the Nicotine is out of your system (week to 10 days aprox) the NHS will give you sod all help, so much for all thei r "we want to help policies" !! .... u go in and say i stopped a week ago and now need help, they will not prescribe you anything because they don't want to re-introduce anything  .... I still stand by what i have always said, the government whines tht smokers place a higher burden on the NHS.... well, if the country stopped smoking for one day, the drop in tax income would cripple the NHS's budget !!

Anyway, keep it up, and when your out and consider having jus the one cig, remember how hard it has been to get this far, and how annoyed you'll be later

The NHS will give you help to quit. You already quit though :p.

Good for you, now its time to kill the nicotine addiction. I did it with patches. 3 months was enough to kill the cigarette addiction. Once that was done, the nicotine addicition was easy!
