I will be looking to overclock as much as i can, i still havent decided what cooler etc to add on.

Could any of you give any advice on this

Thanks

look ok although would stick to XP Home. Also recommend another HD so you don't get I/O bottleneck when heavy HD accessing multi-tasking to/from the HD

Another hd sounds ok, but i would like to move to vista so that i dont need to upgrade if new DX10 games are dependant on vista.

I also have been running the beta for last 6 months and i am well oriented with it now

its a crime not to get the ballistx 8500 ddr2 at the price it is tbh

noctua and tuniq are the top 2 coolers in that order
also if you have money to spare a 620w psu would be a better idea for future upgrades

I'd change the motherboard to the DS3P as it is a later revision of the DS3 with the features of the DS4 but at a cheaper price and with the bugs of the DS3 ironed out.

The Western Digital 320gb AAKS drive is a little faster than the Seagate 7200.10 so might be worth going for but other than that it looks fine. :)

the balastix are 2 x the price of the geil stix, but not twice the performance

How about this spec?

Noctua NH-U12F (Socket LGA775/754/939/940/AM2) Heatsink £30.99

OcUK GeForce 8800 GTS 320MB GDDR3 HDTV/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail £145.99

Corsair HX 620W ATX2.2 Modular SLI Compliant PSU (CMPSU-620HXUK) £84.99

Samsung SpinPoint T HD501LJ 500GB SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM £59.99

Gigabyte GA_965P_DS3P (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard £74.99

Lian-Li PC V1000 PLUS Aluminium Midi-Tower - Black £109.99

Pioneer DVR-112DBK 18x18 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter - (Black) OEM £16.99

GeIL 2GB (2x1GB) PC6400C4 800MHz Ultra Low Latency DDR2 Dual Channel Kit (GX22GB6400UDC) £56.99

Microsoft Windows Vista Business 64-Bit Edition DVD - OEM - 1Pk (66J-02373) £59.99

Intel Core 2 Duo E6420 "LGA775 Conroe" 2.13GHz (1066FSB) - Retail £107.99

Total : £895.17

Nice spec above but i would get the Corsair 520 no need for the 620 version and then change the memory to the Crucial Ballistix 5300 C3 and also change the Hard Drive to Seagate Barracuda 320GB.
