hey guys.

I want to build a PC for my little brother, so that he can play games with good graphics.

First build and i was looking for the best possible setup for games in this price range.

His favorite colour is green so if that can be incorporated that would be great but it's not necessary.

Thanks for reading this and thank you a lot more if you could post builds that you think would be suitable.

Corsair PSU + CM Hyper 212 = Potty spec :)

The case has green elements, but if you want to show off the greenness a full window would be better I think. All the LEDs and stuff would probably appeal to a younger brother.

I wouldn't buy a budget case on a £1200 PC though, especially an old design without USB 3/cable management, etc.

Case is as much a personal thing as anything, it looks good (in my opinion) and will perform reasonably well. (Better than my case!) It's just on option for the OP to look at. :)

SLI capable mATX spec but that's probably taking the green a bit too far.

More sensible spec with KB & Mouse, just over budget but if you are quick the GPU might well come with some nice games. The 670 GPU you'll note knocks off the dreaded P&P and should come with the new Splinter Cell game

hey guys thanks for all the great ideas i have a few questions
but first I don't feel confident putting any sort of watercooling systems in this build.
what would a computer at the lower end of the price range look like?
are there any difficulties involved with having both the SSD and Hard Drive ?
