My friend has £800 to spend and doesn't need a HDD. Just looking for a few different opinions. Thanks!

Sorry. No os, no peripherals or monitor. Just a tower without a HDD. Main use would be gaming.

option for adding a 2nd card in the future for xfire, if you don't need that option then can get a cheaper motherboard and psu can then use the money on a better graphics card/biiger ssd/better case/etc. oh and nvidia option

I don't think he's overly bothered about a dvd drive. Could you perhaps drop it to a 570 and make the other hardware better? thanks

No boot drive and slightly better parts again please? haha
He has HDD's he will reuse due to the current HDD prices and he has the os on a usb

he'll have to reinstall windows as he's building a compeletly new system, well unless he likes the windows crapping out on him every few seconds ;)

I meant either install from usb stick, or he already has an optical drive along with the hdd's he's re-using ;)

ah that makes more sence :)

why don't you want a ssd? everyone loves ssds :)

but anyway with stulids spec if you drop the ssd it wouldn't free up enough to return to the 580, so you could improve the case and cooler
