Check out this thread. It's updated pretty regularly and it pretty much gives you the best you can get for the money. If you don't quite like what's shown in one of the specs than you can by all means change it to suit your needs/tastes.
Look at the £750 tower spec and then maybe add or change a few things to make the £800 and make it that bit better.
Or just use that spec and save £50

I don't remember the exact prices but ill post fast spec just outta my head:
E8400 ~130
x38 mobo ~130
4gb PC6400 memory ~70
Tuniq Tower ~35
Spintpoint F1 HDD ~50
Thermaltake ToughPower 750 ~70
Thats about 500quid,
Now you have about 300 left for case and GPU
You can get good case for about 70quid so 200+ for GPU
Here you have the option of either getting the 4850 or 4870 and after some time when prices drop the x38 mobo will allow you to get one more of either for crossfire if you will ever need more power.
