Okay guys so title says all really, my computer building knowledge is at a minimum so I would appreciate if you guys could spec me a good gaming system for 800 without a PSU as I already have a brand new HX850W Modular sat next to me :)

I can stretch to 900 if absolutely necessary. Plus I would want to overclock c:

Thanks guys!

EDIT: It's just the tower. I don't require an OS, Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse etc.

Thanks again!

As you have a 850W PSU might as well get a mobo which does SLI/Xfire. RAM is faster than needed but does have a lifetime warranty and is colour coded to the mobos heatsinks. The GPU and mobo have a 3 year uk based warranty, I would favour the windforce 7950 GPU over its rivals.

DOnt get the 840 Basic, stick with the 830 unless you want to get the 840 Pro. I've included a closed loop cooler on offer which would look nice through the window but there are other air alternatives as you can see in the other specs......hope this helps

Didn't realise Retail was not £20 more! Doesn't the 840 offer same performance as the 830?

AFAIK, no. They use asynchronous memory in the 840. A bit like the difference between the Corsair Force 3, and the Corsair Force GT. They use Toggle NAND in the 830 and the 840 pro. So that's why I would recommend either of the others (although the 840 pro is a lot more expensive).
