Hello i'm looking for some help on building a gaming PC and what to purchase. My current computer is quite out of date all though the power supply (1000W) and case Zalman Z11 id like to keep.I also just have a standard hardrive and not a SSD.My current RAM is ddr3 so if i go for a Z170 motherboard i have to budget for ddr4 as well.I really don't know which processor to go for either.
so far this is the best that i have come up with myself but really don't know if there are better options or not.

Another option Maximus VII Ranger - Devils Canyon Core i7 4790K CPU & Motherboard Bundle **£15 Saving** 399.94 using my old ram and still having 400 budget left..I really dont know how much difference there is between z170 and a z97 board and if it would be foolish to go for a setup that doesn't support ddr4 ram and 6th gen processors.How do the 2 processors i posted even compare in terms of gaming?
Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you
