800bhp/tonne Dax Rush spanking Caterfields and Elsies (sic) at the 'ring

I think it's more having to brake mid-corner to avoid other cars...If you look, each time he brakes dodgily, he overtakes a car on the exit of the corner.

 Rather rapid that!

I've been in a Caterham 7 series, that was running a 2.0 vauxhall engine (a google makes me think it was the 20XE 16v) and uprated carbs of some sort..and that was scarily quick. But that Hayabusa'd kit car was something else....

:D fairly old vid but always makes me grin

Sooo ridiculously fast, more power to weight then a bugatti veyron and could easily be made for under £20k. Actually i'm not sure how much the DAX rush kits are, but if you started with a better chassis, like the MNR, then you could build that for around £16k and end up with a wet weight of 400-450kg :D 900-1000bhp/tonne

now that's a bargain!

He puts too much power down at 5min 20sec and almost lost it. Luckily he has the reflexes of an eagle!
Highlight of the lap :D

Only slight traction issues putting the power down!
