So Ive just invested in a 800d after using an antec 900 for a while now.

I have the fan installed in the bottom compartment but at the moment no fans on the top of the case. The H50 is in push/pull.

Does anyone know the best way to maximize the airflow in the case as it seems to be a bit warmer in there than id like.

Current setup below : (Bad camera phone pic)

Is the fan at the bottom the stock corsair one? I have heard that they move next to no air. Replacing that fan would increase your airflow. Also think about putting some 120mm fans in the roof if you find that replacing the 140mm fan hasn't given you your desired results :)

Yeah its the stock one, im ordering 3 fans for the top on monday so I'll get another for there aswell.

In terms of the H50 ive heard people say its better to have the airflow come from the outside in and exhaust from the top think this would help too?

kama bay or similar in the 525 bay

i had a lian-li drive bay cooler and it worked lovely.

i changed over to a haf-x and to be really honest with you....the 800d i had was better and quieter and cooler than the haf-x.

wished i kept it now, people said the haf was better at cooling but me the 800d was better.

Any thoughts on having the h50 push/pull suck into the case or should I keep it going out?

Common sense tells me having it bring cooler air in would be better rather than having the warmer air inside pushed over the rad

LOL sorry but no way would the 800D be cooler than the HAF X that literaly is impossible.

Even with a bay cooler that really wouldnt beat a HAF X would it?

ive had both case's and had some good fan's in the 800d with 5 temperature probes around the case and the 800d was cooler than the haf i got now.

could be due to the size of the 800d that the heat was dispersed more.
