800D - GPU cooling worries

I have a SilverStone RV02 (rev1) case, and fancy a change. I really like the idea of the 800D's hot-swappable drive system (my original RV02 system is a pain), and love the look of the case. I also really like the fact that the case is a monster!

I have concerns over the GPU cooling with this case however. I'm getting a Corsair H100 shortly so CPU cooling isn't an issue, but having looked at photos... surely any GPU will roast itself in an 800D?

Can any owners give me some experiences please?

Thanks :)

You can add another fan into the bottom near the PSU which apparently drops GPU temps quite a lot. An alternative to look at would be the HAF-X

I had considered the HAF X, but for me, I just couldn't live with the looks.

For me, case aesthetics are the priority, but only assuming the cooling isn't horrendous. That's why I wanna get some 800D feedback.

These are the current temps with my 3 GPU's under load all sandwiched together.

Max 106°c but that was when I did a little overclocking test :o PC never goes off lol :D

Thanks, good to see. Not as bad as I would have expected, especially from 3 x SLI!

What kinda idle temps do you get from your 3 x cards (and are they reference coolers)?

I have single GTX280 (a card generally known to run hotter than a trip to the sun) in my corsair 800D. Idle temp is currently 44 degrees C, flat out it runs at 80 degrees C. All the fans are stock and I have a Corsair H100 cooling the cpu with 2 Akasa Viper fans on intake.

Thanks for the reply, certainly lower temps than I was expecting. My 5850 TFII idles around the low 30's in the RV02 so this may not be so different.

dito love the air cooling features / the cable management but unless your a gamer who doesnt care about aesthetics, you don't want LED fans everywhere, or chunky plastic notchs along the side.

I want the 800d but i am also concerned about air cooling it, as i cant afford / dont really want to water cool
