800D Light leakage?

Hi guys

Received the awesome 800D today, loving it so far except one issue. I get light leakage from both side panels.

Opinions? It may seem a bit anal but after paying £230 I would have hoped everything would fit flush. It seems as if the panels are bent / ill fitting.

black electrical tape on the inside of the side pannel rim to give it a better fit?

It could be the cable routing you are using, could be pressing the side out just enough?

Some black tape would probably hide the "gap" but this wouldn't really be giving a better fit more hiding the issue.

Philly, maybe, I've been playing with the cabling at the rear to see if it helps (it did not) but I get the same thing on the windowed side which obviously has no cables at all against it.

mine seem's to be ok.

mine is under my desk at the moment and cant really see it but i will take it out today and have a look.

Mine did this when I first got it, bit of a gamble but I just left it to see if it would close up over time and it certainly has, although I've had a few config changes since new.

Perhaps they just need running in and a little bit of normal operating heat (! - blasphemy for an OC) to let everything seat properly?

Are you guys using cathodes? To be fair, if I didn't have white cathodes in this would probably be harder to spot.

ive got 20 led lights in my case (2 strips of 10) and mine is ok.
