Am looking to add a 120 rad to my existing 360 (roof) loop.

Have decided to place in bottom of case but am not sure which way to have the fan - pushing/pulling air out the case or in.

Directly above the new rad is the standard fit corsair 140 fan which sucks in air from the section where the new rad will fit - which to me is a bit 'battle of the fans' .

Best approach ?

I have two fans on top of the rad pulling air in and just removed the middle shelf fan altogether.

240 rad in bottom? - So 2 fans sucking air through the rad from outside ?

I could not replicate as I have a 120 rad BUT I could either:-

1) Set the fan on top of the rad to suck in from outside - leaving the existing 140 fan sucking in i.e. both pulling in same direction ; or

2) Again set the fan on top of the rad to pull air in from outside but move the 140 from the middle shelf to the front side (below existing fan cooling hd's) - again sucking air into the case.

Only problem with either is that I am going to be pulling warm air into the case from the single rad :(

How about fan on rad to blow air through i.e. out of case BUT place existing 140 in front position sucking air in? - not ideal but a little more balanced?

Thoughts please:)

Decided to go with - Remove existing 140mm and leave rad fan pushing air through.

Have added 'new' 120mm fan at side sucking air in - to replace the 140 fan.

All appears to be working well -:)

Good work dude ,
do you have some pics ?

Im planning on doing the same on my front side panel ive already added one on the back. Im just debating the exact position of the front fan.
